Zoë Keating is a Canadian cellist and composer born in Guelph, Ontario. She is known for using live looping and electronic processing to turn a single cello into layered instrumental compositions, a method central to the albums One Cello x 16: Natoma and Into the Trees.

Before concentrating on solo work, she played and toured with the cello-rock group Rasputina. Her solo concerts use a cello, a computer and foot-controlled equipment to record and combine parts as she performs them. She presented that format at TED in Monterey in 2008.
