A.A. Bondy is an American singer-songwriter from Birmingham, Alabama, who writes spare folk, Americana and alternative country. He first recorded as the frontman of the rock band Verbena, then established a solo catalogue through albums including American Hearts, When the Devil’s Loose, Believers and Enderness.

Following American Hearts, he toured his early solo material in clubs and theatres across the United States and Europe, performing both alone and with accompanying musicians. In 2019, he returned to the stage for North American dates after a long break from recording and performing, presenting songs from Enderness.
