About Amparanoia
Amparanoia is a Spanish Latin-alternative band formed in Madrid in 1996 by singer-songwriter Amparo Sánchez. The group plays rock, reggae, ska and Latin music, and became known through its debut album El poder de Machín and songs including “La vida te da,” “Que te den” and “En la noche.”
In 2008, the group completed a farewell tour before Sánchez concentrated on her solo work. Amparo Sánchez revived Amparanoia for a 20th-anniversary tour in 2017, returning the songs of El poder de Machín to the stage.
