About Devin Townsend Project
Devin Townsend Project was a Canadian progressive metal band formed in 2009 by singer, guitarist and producer Devin Townsend. Its catalogue ranged across heavy, atmospheric and experimental music, including the albums Ki, Addicted, Deconstruction, Ghost, Epicloud and Transcendence.
At London’s ULU in 2011, the band presented By a Thread, four concerts devoted in sequence to its first four albums. The following year, The Retinal Circus at the Roundhouse turned Townsend’s catalogue into a theatrical retrospective, and in 2015 the band staged The Ziltoid Show at the Royal Albert Hall.
