About Fairground Attraction
Fairground Attraction are a British folk-pop band formed in London in 1986, led by singer Eddi Reader and songwriter-guitarist Mark E. Nevin. Their debut album, The First of a Million Kisses, produced the UK No. 1 single “Perfect” and the follow-up “Find My Love.”
After the debut, Fairground Attraction toured Britain, Europe, North America and Japan before separating in 1990. The original four members reunited for concerts in 2024, followed by the album Beautiful Happening; the British dates included Usher Hall in Edinburgh and the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow.
