Flying Lotus Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Flying Lotus is the stage name of American producer, composer and musician Steven Ellison, born in Los Angeles in 1983. His electronic music draws on instrumental hip-hop, jazz and experimental composition; albums including Los Angeles, Cosmogramma and You’re Dead! established his distinctive catalog. He also founded the Brainfeeder label and records rap music as Captain Murphy.

Flying Lotus toured the Layer 3 audiovisual show, developed with visual artists Strangeloop and Timeboy around synchronized projections. In 2016, he curated and headlined Brainfeeder at the Hollywood Bowl, where the performers included Thundercat and George Clinton. He later took stereoscopic visuals on the road in the glasses-assisted Flying Lotus in 3D production.
