About Flyying Colours
Flyying Colours are an Australian shoegaze band formed in Melbourne in 2011. Their music combines dense, effects-heavy guitars with dream-pop melodies and psychedelic rock, heard on “Wavygravy” and the albums Mindfullness, Fantasy Country and You Never Know.
Flyying Colours opened Australian shows for Johnny Marr and The Jesus and Mary Chain during the period surrounding their early EPs. They later took Mindfullness into headline club tours in Britain and mainland Europe.
Headline dates in London and Berlin carried the band’s live set into British and continental European clubs.
