Hawksley Workman in Halifax

Hawksley Workman is the stage name of Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ryan Corrigan. His music ranges across indie rock, pop and cabaret, and he is known for the albums (Last Night We Were) The Delicious Wolves and Lover/Fighter, as well as songs including “Striptease,” “Jealous of Your Cigarette” and “Smoke Baby.” Hawksley Workman opened concerts for David Bowie and The Cure during his early international touring, then built his own club and theatre runs across Canada and Europe. One of those performances was preserved in the concert film Live in Lille. He performs both solo and with a backing band, moving between guitar and piano in solo sets. His longtime keyboardist and collaborator Todd Lumley performs under the name Mr. Lonely.
