Israel Vibration is a Jamaican roots-reggae vocal group formed in Kingston in the 1970s by three singers who had met while recovering from polio at the Mona Rehabilitation Centre. Their close harmonies and Rastafarian themes became established through songs such as “Same Song” and albums including The Same Song, Unconquered People and Strength of My Life.

After reuniting in the late 1980s, the original trio resumed international touring, and the concert releases Live Again! and Live & Jammin’ documented the group in full-band form. After Albert “Apple Gabriel” Craig left, Wiss and Skelly carried the repertoire onstage for years, frequently backed by the Roots Radics.
