Ivete Sangalo in Belo Horizonte

Ivete Sangalo is a Brazilian singer and songwriter, born in Juazeiro, Bahia, in 1972, who performs axé and pop. She fronted Banda Eva before starting her solo career, and her signature songs include “Festa,” “Sorte Grande” and “Poeira.” In 2006, she recorded the concert album Multishow ao Vivo: Ivete no Maracanã at the famous football stadium. Four years later, she staged and recorded Multishow ao Vivo: Ivete Sangalo no Madison Square Garden in New York. She has returned repeatedly to the Salvador Carnival, leading a trio elétrico, and has performed at Rock in Rio editions held in Rio de Janeiro and Lisbon.
