Jeffrey Osborne in Las Vegas

Jeffrey Osborne is an American R&B and soul singer, songwriter and musician, born in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1948. He first became known as the drummer and lead singer of L.T.D., whose recordings included “Love Ballad” and “(Every Time I Turn Around) Back in Love Again.” His solo catalog includes “On the Wings of Love,” “Stay with Me Tonight” and “You Should Be Mine (The Woo Woo Song).” After leaving L.T.D. in 1980, he began performing as a solo headliner, carrying songs from the group into full-band sets centered on his own recordings. He has also appeared in the Men of Soul concert package with Peabo Bryson, Howard Hewett and Freddie Jackson.
