About JUNE OF 44
JUNE OF 44 is an American post-hardcore and math-rock band formed in Louisville, Kentucky, in 1994. The lineup brought together Jeff Mueller, Sean Meadows, Fred Erskine and Doug Scharin, whose interlocking guitars and shifting rhythms shaped albums including Engine Takes to the Water, Tropics and Meridians, Four Great Points and Anahata.
JUNE OF 44 toured clubs in North America and Europe during the second half of the 1990s before ending its original run in 2000. The group reunited in 2018 and returned to European stages, including a 2019 performance at Roadburn Festival in Tilburg.
