About Kvelertak
Kvelertak are a Norwegian band formed in Stavanger in 2007. They play black-metal riffs, hardcore punk and hard rock, usually with lyrics in Norwegian. Their self-titled debut introduced songs including “Mjød” and “Blodtørst”; later albums include Meir, Nattesferd, Splid and Endling.
In 2014, Kvelertak toured North America with Mastodon and Gojira. Metallica later chose them to support the European arena dates of the WorldWired Tour in 2017 and 2018.
