Nathan Evans & SAINT PHNX in Marrickville

Nathan Evans is a Scottish folk-pop singer from Airdrie who became known for posting sea-shanty performances online. His recording of “Wellerman” and its remix by 220 Kid and Billen Ted reached number one on the UK singles chart. He followed it with songs including “Told You So,” “The Last Shanty” and “Heather on the Hill,” while Wellerman: The Album expanded his repertoire beyond traditional material. The 2022 Wellerman Tour took Nathan Evans into clubs and theatres across the UK and Europe, where he performed traditional shanties alongside his own folk-pop songs. His festival appearances have included TRNSMT in Glasgow and the Isle of Wight Festival.

SAINT PHNX are a Scottish alternative-rock band formed by brothers Stevie and Alan Jukes. Electronic production and broad choruses shape songs including “King,” “Death of Me” and “Happy Place,” while their albums include DDMN and Happy Place. SAINT PHNX have performed at Reading and Leeds Festivals and TRNSMT as part of their UK live history.
