Paul Kelly is an Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Adelaide in 1955 and closely associated with Melbourne’s rock scene. His folk-rooted rock and soul catalogue includes “To Her Door,” “Dumb Things,” “From St Kilda to Kings Cross” and “How to Make Gravy,” as well as the albums Gossip and Under the Sun.

The A–Z concerts presented 100 of Paul Kelly’s songs in alphabetical order across four nights, a format later documented on The A–Z Recordings. In 2013, he toured with Neil Finn under the title Goin’ Your Way, and their performance at the Sydney Opera House became a live album. Beginning in 2017, he also established a recurring December concert series named after “How to Make Gravy.”
