Quantic in Brighton

Quantic is the recording name of English producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist Will Holland. He makes electronic music rooted in funk, soul, jazz, cumbia and other Latin American traditions. He is known for albums including The 5th Exotic, Apricot Morning and Mishaps Happening, as well as projects such as the Quantic Soul Orchestra, Flowering Inferno and Combo Bárbaro. The Quantic Soul Orchestra took his early studio work onto the road as a live funk and soul band. After moving to Cali in 2007, he assembled Combo Bárbaro and toured the album Tradition in Transition. He later toured Look Around the Corner with Alice Russell, including a concert at KOKO. His past performances have included club-sized rooms such as the Jazz Cafe in London and outdoor stages at Glastonbury Festival.
