About Reeve Carney
Reeve Carney is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist and actor, born in New York City in 1983. He makes guitar-led rock with blues and jazz elements, first recording with the band Carney and later releasing the solo album Youth Is Wasted. He is also known for playing Peter Parker in the Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark and originating the role of Orpheus on Broadway in Hadestown.
In 2010, Reeve Carney toured with his band as an opening act on selected dates of U2’s 360° Tour. He subsequently performed Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark at the Foxwoods Theatre, then joined Hadestown at London’s National Theatre in 2018. He moved with the musical to Broadway in 2019 and remained in the production through 2023 at the Walter Kerr Theatre.
