About Ben Platt
Ben Platt is an American singer-songwriter and actor, born in Los Angeles in 1993. He originated the role of Evan Hansen in the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen, winning the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical, and is closely associated with songs including “Waving Through a Window” and “You Will Be Found.” His solo albums include Sing to Me Instead, Reverie and Honeymind.
The 2019 Sing to Me Instead Tour established his concert work beyond musical theatre, and a performance on that run became the Netflix concert film Ben Platt Live from Radio City Music Hall. The Reverie Tour followed in 2022. In 2024, the Broadway residency Ben Platt: Live at the Palace preceded the Honeymind Tour.
