Reuben James is a British pianist, singer, songwriter and producer from Birmingham, known for his long-running work as Sam Smith’s keyboard player and for jazz-rooted soul and R&B under his own name. His solo releases include the EPs Adore and Slow Down and the album Champagne Kisses. Reuben James spent years touring internationally in Sam Smith’s band, playing keyboards on the In the Lonely Hour Tour and later the The Thrill of It All Tour. His solo concerts place him at the piano and microphone with a full band, including performances at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London.
