Sigvart Dagsland in Kristiansand

Sigvart Dagsland is a Norwegian singer, songwriter and pianist born in Stavanger in 1963. He writes melodic pop shaped by soul and gospel, singing largely in Norwegian and often in the Stavanger dialect. His best-known songs include “Alt eg såg,” “De umulige” and “Ka e du redd for?” Sigvart Dagsland: Jul is a recurring December concert series presented in churches and concert halls around Norway. Beyond the seasonal program, he performs his catalogue at the piano with a band and has given joint concerts with singer and pianist Karoline Krüger.
