Teodor Currentzis Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Teodor Currentzis is a Greek-Russian conductor, born in Athens in 1972, whose repertoire ranges across opera, Baroque music and twentieth-century orchestral works. He founded the orchestra and choir musicAeterna in Novosibirsk in 2004. His recordings include Mozart’s three Da Ponte operas, Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6 and Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring.

At the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre, where he served as artistic director, he conducted Peter Sellars’s production of Purcell’s The Indian Queen; the production later appeared at Teatro Real in Madrid. At the Salzburg Festival, he led Sellars’s La clemenza di Tito in 2017 and Romeo Castellucci’s Don Giovanni in 2021.
