About Abbath
Abbath is a Norwegian black metal band formed in 2015 by vocalist and guitarist Olve Eikemo, known as Abbath, after his departure from Immortal. Its catalogue includes the albums Abbath, Outstrider and Dread Reaver, and songs such as “Winterbane,” “Harvest Pyre” and “Dream Cull.”
Abbath made its live debut at Tuska Open Air in 2015 and appeared at Wacken Open Air later that summer. In 2016, the band headlined the Decibel Magazine Tour in North America, supported by High on Fire, Skeletonwitch and Tribulation.
Abbath performs as a full electric band led by Eikemo on vocals and guitar. Its set lists have combined songs from the three Abbath albums with material Eikemo recorded during his years in Immortal.
