About Hugh Jackman

Hugh Jackman is an Australian actor and singer, born in 1968, known for playing Wolverine in the X-Men films and for musical roles in The Boy from Oz, Les Misérables and The Greatest Showman.

The Boy from Oz opened at the Imperial Theatre in 2003, establishing Jackman as a Broadway musical lead. He returned to New York in 2011 for Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre, then took Hugh Jackman: The Man. The Music. The Show. to arenas in 2019, including Madison Square Garden and The O2.

The 2019 production featured Jackman singing with a live orchestra and dancers, drawing its programme from his stage and screen musicals.

That tour carried his concert work far beyond his native Sydney, reaching Toronto before its European run ended in Paris.
