About Birds Of Tokyo
Birds of Tokyo are an Australian alternative-rock band formed in Perth in 2004, fronted by vocalist Ian Kenny. Their best-known work includes the albums Birds of Tokyo and March Fires, as well as the songs “Plans,” “This Fire,” “Lanterns” and “Good Lord.”
The Resistance Tour placed Birds of Tokyo in Australian arenas as support for Muse in 2010. Three years later, the national March Fires tour led into a pre-match performance at the AFL Grand Final, where they played “Lanterns” at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
