About Carpathian Forest
Carpathian Forest are a Norwegian black metal band formed in 1992 by Nattefrost and Nordavind. Their music pairs raw black metal with punk and rock ’n’ roll rhythms, heard on albums including Black Shining Leather, Strange Old Brew, Morbid Fascination of Death and Defending the Throne of Evil.
Carpathian Forest played Inferno Metal Festival in Oslo during their early live years and later appeared at Wacken Open Air in Germany. Their concert history has centred on European metal festivals and club shows, including performances built around material from Black Shining Leather and Defending the Throne of Evil at Wacken Open Air.
