Daniel Hope is a South African-born British violinist, born in Durban in 1973, whose repertoire ranges across Baroque and Romantic music, contemporary classical works and film melodies. He has recorded projects including AIR: A Baroque Journey, Spheres and Escape to Paradise, and is also known for his years as a member of the Beaux Arts Trio.

In 2002, Hope joined the Beaux Arts Trio and performed with the ensemble until its farewell concert at the Lucerne Festival in 2008. He later took music-director posts with the Zurich Chamber Orchestra and New Century Chamber Orchestra, combining solo playing with directing from the violin. In 2020, his Hope@Home series presented chamber performances broadcast online from his home in Berlin.
