About Emeric Imre
Emeric Imre is a Romanian singer-songwriter born in Cluj-Napoca whose music belongs to the country’s acoustic folk tradition. He is best known for “Nebun de alb,” his setting of a poem by Adrian Păunescu, which also became the title of an album.
Emeric Imre has performed alone with acoustic guitar and with the musicians of Emeric Set. His appearances on Romania’s folk circuit have included the Folk You! festival at Vama Veche.
