About Stefan Hrusca
Stefan Hrusca is a Romanian folk singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in 1957 in Ieud, Maramureș. He became known through Cenaclul Flacăra and for a repertoire that includes the song “Rugă pentru părinți” and traditional Romanian Christmas carols, known as colinde.
In 1981, he joined Cenaclul Flacăra and performed at its events around Romania. He later built much of his live work around seasonal carol tours, returning for winter concerts year after year. Those tours included repeated performances at Sala Palatului in Bucharest.
