About Hania Rani
Hania Rani is a Polish pianist, composer and singer born in Gdańsk in 1990. She writes modern classical piano music shaped by ambient electronics and understated vocals. Her principal releases include the solo-piano debut Esja, the vocal and electronic album Home, and Ghosts.
The filmed Live from Studio S2 performance documented her working between piano, keyboards and electronics at Polish Radio in Warsaw. In 2022 she performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival and recorded a Cercle concert built around piano and synthesizers at Les Invalides in Paris.
