About Liars
Liars is an experimental rock group formed in Brooklyn in 2000 and centered on Australian musician Angus Andrew. The dance-punk rhythms of the debut album, They Threw Us All in a Trench and Stuck a Monument on Top, gave way to the noise, percussion and electronics of records including Drum’s Not Dead, WIXIW and Mess.
In 2008, Liars supported Radiohead on the North American leg of the In Rainbows tour, bringing material from the band’s self-titled album to arena audiences. The group later toured behind WIXIW and Mess in clubs and theatres. Festival appearances included Coachella in California and Primavera Sound in Barcelona.
