Mamas Gun are a British soul band formed in London in 2007 and led by singer, songwriter and guitarist Andy Platts. Their music draws on soul, funk, R&B and soft rock, heard on albums including Routes to Riches, The Life and Soul, Golden Days and Cure the Jones. “Pots of Gold” and “Red Cassette” are among their best-known songs. Tours supporting Beverley Knight and Raphael Saadiq helped take the band beyond UK club and theatre stages.
