Mungo's Hi Fi in The City of Brighton and Hove

Mungo's Hi Fi are a Scottish sound-system collective formed in Glasgow in 2000. They play dub and reggae shaped by Jamaican sound-system culture, and are known for albums including Sound System Champions and Forward Ever, as well as releases with vocalists Soom T, Marina P and Charlie P through their Scotch Bonnet Records label. Mungo's Hi Fi established the Walk n Skank club night at The Berkeley Suite and have performed at Glastonbury Festival, Outlook Festival and Boomtown Fair. These appearances placed their sound-system format in clubs and on major festival stages. Their shows pair selectors with MCs and singers over the collective's own sound system. Charlie P, their collaborator on The Long Game, has also appeared with them onstage.
