Sarmalele reci Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Sarmalele Reci is a Romanian alternative-rock band formed in 1993 by lyricist Florin Dumitrescu and singer and multi-instrumentalist Zoltán András. Social satire and wordplay run through songs including “Țara te vrea prost,” “Violeta” and “Telefonul nu mai sună”; the first of these also gave the band’s debut album its title.

The band gave its first concert at Theatrum Mundi in Bucharest in 1993. Thirty years later, Sarmalele Reci marked its anniversary with a 2023 concert at the open-air Arenele Romane, linking its theatre beginnings to a larger hometown stage.
