About The Moldy Peaches
The Moldy Peaches are an American anti-folk band formed in New York in 1994 by Adam Green and Kimya Dawson. Their lo-fi songs pair acoustic guitars with playful, candid lyrics; the self-titled album The Moldy Peaches includes “Anyone Else but You,” which later featured prominently in the film Juno, as well as “Lucky Number Nine” and “Who’s Got the Crack?”
The band played the SideWalk Cafe during the 1990s anti-folk scene, then joined The Strokes on tour after their self-titled album appeared in 2001. A reunion run in 2008 reached the Royal Albert Hall. In 2023, they returned for a Brooklyn Steel date, followed by shows at the Roundhouse in London and Primavera Sound in Barcelona.
