About The Walkmen
The Walkmen are an American indie-rock band formed in New York City in 2000. Their post-punk-edged sound is documented on albums including Everyone Who Pretended to Like Me Is Gone, Bows + Arrows, You & Me and Heaven; “The Rat” became their signature song.
Throughout the 2000s and early 2010s, The Walkmen toured internationally behind their album releases, appearing in clubs, theatres and at festivals before stepping away in 2013. They reunited in April 2023 for five concerts at Webster Hall, their first full shows in nearly a decade. The subsequent run included the Metro in Chicago, KOKO in London and Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Porto.
