Emir Kusturica & The No Smoking Orchestra Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Emir Kusturica & The No Smoking Orchestra is a Balkan rock and folk band led by Serbian filmmaker and guitarist Emir Kusturica. Its roots lie in the Sarajevo group Zabranjeno Pušenje, while the later lineup became closely associated with the soundtrack to Kusturica’s film Black Cat, White Cat. The song “Bubamara” and the album Unza Unza Time established the band’s mix of punk, brass, accordion and Balkan folk melodies.

In 2005, the group performed at the Live 8 concert on Red Square in Moscow. Two years later, the musicians took part in the premiere of Kusturica’s punk opera Time of the Gypsies, which brought music connected to his film to the stage of the Opéra Bastille in Paris.
