About Myrkur
Myrkur is the solo project created in 2014 by Danish musician Amalie Bruun. Her music draws on black metal, Nordic folk and atmospheric choral writing; the albums M, Mareridt, Folkesange and Spine document its range.
Myrkur made her live debut at Roskilde Festival in 2015, performing with a band. The following year she recorded the live album Mausoleum at Oslo’s Emanuel Vigeland Mausoleum, joined by the Norwegian Girls’ Choir and guitarist Håvard Jørgensen.
