Stephen Malkmus Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Stephen Malkmus is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist, born in Santa Monica in 1966. He is best known as a co-founder and frontman of Pavement, whose catalogue includes “Cut Your Hair,” “Gold Soundz” and the albums Slanted and Enchanted and Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain. His solo work ranges across indie rock and folk, including Stephen Malkmus, Pig Lib, Mirror Traffic and Traditional Techniques.

Stephen Malkmus took his self-titled 2001 album on the road with the Jicks and continued touring with the band behind records including Pig Lib, Real Emotional Trash and Mirror Traffic. He fronted Pavement on its 2010 reunion tour, then returned to Jicks shows and toured Sparkle Hard in 2018. His 2019 concerts for Groove Denied were billed under his own name; another Pavement reunion in 2022 included four nights at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn.
