About The American Analog Set
The American Analog Set is an American indie rock band formed in Austin in 1995. Led by singer and guitarist Andrew Kenny, the group is known for understated slowcore, repetitive guitar figures and organ-led arrangements on albums including The Golden Band, Know by Heart and Promise of Love. “The Postman” and “Aaron & Maria” are among its best-known songs.
At Levitation in 2023, the band returned to the stage after a long absence. The reunion performances also took The American Analog Set beyond Austin for a New York show at the Bowery Ballroom.
