About The Clientele

The Clientele are a British indie-pop band formed in London in 1991, led by singer and guitarist Alasdair MacLean. Their dreamlike guitar pop is captured on the collection Suburban Light and albums including The Violet Hour and Strange Geometry; “Reflections After Jane” and “Since K Got Over Me” are among their best-known songs.

The band reunited to perform at Green Man Festival in 2014. Concerts supporting Music for the Age of Miracles followed in 2017, and the group toured behind I Am Not There Anymore in 2023, playing club dates in New York and Philadelphia.
