About The Go! Team
The Go! Team are a British band formed in Brighton by Ian Parton in 2000. They play sample-driven indie pop that draws on hip-hop, garage rock and dance music. The debut album Thunder, Lightning, Strike introduced signature tracks including “Ladyflash,” “Huddle Formation” and “Get It Together.”
The group turned Parton’s studio project into a six-piece touring band and performed at Glastonbury Festival in 2005. A year later, the band played Coachella as its live work expanded beyond the United Kingdom.
The stage lineup uses two drum kits alongside guitars, keyboards and percussion, and members frequently change instruments during a set. Rapper and vocalist Ninja leads the performance at the front of the band.
